I was inspired by bubzbeauty (YouTube makeup guru) for this look. It really captures the effect of new spring blossoms on your fingers! It is cute and very wearable. The colors are more neutral (not to mention natural!) and they match mostly anything. I am planning on uploading a video to YouTube with a video tutorial of this nail look.
My vlog channel on YouTube is RachelsBeautyBlogg.
- Optional. Paint your nails with a clear polish to ensure NO NAIL STAINING!
- Paint your nails a solid natural-ish color. I chose a diamondy blue, to represent the sky, for me. Be sure to let this paint dry before moving on to the next step.
- Taking a slightly dried out pink color, blot this, using the brush, onto your nails. This will be the flowers. You can add as many, or as little flowers as you would like. Only don't make them too small, because we want to be able to add detail. Be sure to let this paint dry before moving on to the next step.
- Take a darker pink color, draw three curved lines around the edges of your flower. They shouldn't make a complete circle. Then make a smaller 'circle' of lines inside the other 'circle'. Make these lines in the spaces between the other lines. You can use a toothpick, or a nail art paint.
- Take a dark green (this will be your leaf color) and sculpt little leaves protruding out of the flowers. You can use a toothpick, or a nail art paint. Be sure to let this paint dry before moving on to the next step.
- Finally, paint a clear polish over the flowers to make your flowers last longer.
Hope you guys find these as lovely as I did! Just remember, always paint, and remove your nail polish in a ventilated area. The fumes are very harmful to your health.
