DIY Peter Pan Collar Necklace

Hello everyone!

I'm sure you've seen this super trendy fashion statement going around! It really goes for a feminine and innocent look. Peter Pan Collars come on many different types of shirts, especially sheer or lace. However, sometimes the cost of a shirt with the PP (hehe) collar, is astronomical. With this SIMPLE DIY, you can make your own PP Necklace, and wear it with many different tops!

You will need-
A sharpie, felt, glue/needle and thread, beads/decorative gems, safety pins, a pattern for your PP Necklace, a ribbon or chain, and scissors.

  1. Begin by printing out the attached pattern and cutting it out.          http://www.sendspace.com/pro/r2c9h0
  2. Take your piece of felt, and fold it in half. Safety pin the felt in half. Align and trace your pattern along the center fold (the bent side).
  3. Cut out the pattern. Trim any unevenness.
  4. Use whatever gems or beads using the manner of adhesion of your choice!
  5. Attach the ribbon or chain by sewing!
  6. Viola!

Your Necklace will be gorgeous! It is super easy and yields great results! If you try this out, let me know!
